Foden's will welcome back their former flugel star Kirsten Stott

Foden's have announced the the re-signing of Kirsten Stott (Thomas) who returns to the band on second cornet.

Kirsten originally joined Foden's aged 16 in 1985 on flugel Horn and was instrumental in helping the band win numerous titles, including the North West Area, All England Masters, European Championship and BBC Band of the Year before leaving in 1994.

Diggle principal

However, after a considerable break from playing Kirsten joined the Diggle Band earlier this year eventually moving onto principal cornet.

She recently made a welcome return to Foden's to help the band record their latest 'Patrons Choice X' CD last weekend, and will now officially re-join the Sandbach band in January.

We are delighted to welcome Kirsten back to Foden's after all these years. She made a fantastic contribution to the band on flugel and will be a valuable asset to the cornet section due to her playing, experience and personalityMark Wilkinson
