The Great Yarmouth and Great Yarmouth Future Brass Bands recently enjoyed performing at a highly successful joint 'Future Brass 2016' concert played out to a packed hall of listeners and supporters.

The bands presented a highly enjoyable programme of music — ranging from 'Slaidburn' and 'Valero' to 'Immortals' and 'Mexican Hat Dance'.
Awards
The event also saw the presentation of the Ron Larkins Memorial Shield to talented young trombone player Jamie Harrison who beat off the strong solo competition challenge of cornet player Sean Edwards and trumpeter Kumani Debbage.
Also taking the plaudits was Kai Hart on tenor horn who showed no nerves in playing 'Happy Birthday' on the tenor horn just three weeks after he had started playing!
