After just being formed in the last three months, Horwich RMI Band recently held their first formal fundraising concert at Victoria Hall in Bolton.
Brass & Buble
'Brass & Buble' was organised as part of the fundraising programme by the band's sponsor Miller Metcalfe, with all proceeds donated to Bolton Hospice.
Horwich RMI opened the evening with 'The Wizard' and the popular 'Love Unknown', before moving on to an impressive rendition of 'The Firebird'.
The band shared the stage with top Michael Buble tribute artist, Peter D Hill and the audience was clapping along when the two performed a number of songs together.
The evening ended with an encore rendition of 'Aces High' before the audience left with smiles on their faces and more importantly, their loose change in the Bolton Hospice collection buckets.
So proud
Band Manager Andrea Mosstold 4BR: "I'm so proud of the band and the cocnert performance especially our collaborations with Peter. It was great to see and hear the audience joining in and it's very rewarding for us that we were able to raise money for Bolton Hospice."
