Yorkshire Imperial Urqhuart Travel has announced that they will be conducted by Russell Gray at the 2017 Yorkshire Regional Championship.

Fresh from receiving the Iles Medal at a presentation at the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Scotsman is currently working in the USA, a reflection of his increasingly worldwide freelance conducting career, which incorporates undertaking his role as Adjunct Professor at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music (Australia) and conducting the Aalborg Symphony Orchestra to being Musical Director of the National Youth Brass Band of Scotland and working with a number bands in the UK and Europe.
