Marsden and Hinckley part ways

The musical partnership between John Hinckley and Marsden Silver Prize Band has come to an end.

The partnership played in action together at the Yorkshire Area Championship in 2016.

Marsden Silver Prize Band has informed 4BR that the musical partnership between conductor John Hinckley and themselves has come to an end with immediate effect.

Looking forward

The band is hoping to announce the appointment of a new MD shortly with plans in place for high profile concerts in the run-up to Christmas and the start of the 2017 contest season in Preston and the Yorkshire Area Championship where they hope to make an immediate impact following their relegation to the First Section.
