Enfield to feature new Davoren work in pre-Nationals concert

A brand new work from the pen of composer Tom Davoren will be featured in Enfield Citadel's pre-National concert.

  Composer Tom Davoren has written his first Salvation Army work entitled, 'Living Power'.

Enfield Citadel Band will be providing their own pre-National Finals entertainment with the help of Besson tenor horn virtuoso Owen Farr and compere, celebrity chef and brass band lover, Brian Turner CBE.

Living Power

The event on Thursday 6th October will take place at St Pancras Church, Euston Road (NW1 2BA) in London (starting 7.45pm) and will be directed by guest conductor Bandmaster Iain Parkhouse from Croydon Citadel Band.

The concert will also feature the world premiere of a new work by composer Tom Davoren entitled 'Living Power'. The composition, his first for a Salvation Army band, was written specially for Enfield Citadel Band and is dedicated to former Bandmaster, Dr. Jonathan Corry.

Classics

The band will also feature Salvation Army classics such as 'The Present Age', 'The Dawning' and the increasingly popular 'Illuminate'.
