Stars to help raise funds for Air Ambulance charity

Stars from Fairey, Virtuosi GUS and Desford

Muggeridge
Keith Muggeridge was saved from this horrific crash by the work of the Air Ambulance Service.

The Christ the Cornerstone Church in Milton Keynes is sure to be packed with brass band supporters on 22nd October to enjoy players from Fairey, Virtuosi GUS and Desford Bands perform with Towcester Studio Band to help raise money for the Air Ambulance Service.

Life savers

The concert has been arranged with wonderful help from Towcester by former Fairey baritone player Keith Muggeridge, who wanted to organise the event to give something back to the service that saved his life last February after his car skidded on ice and hit a tree (above).

Hospital

Keith spent much all of last year in hospital and rehabilitation after the accident. He is now back playing with Towcester and going to Virtuosi GUS rehearsals when he can.

As well as his children, he believes that it is brass banding that has certainly given him the inspiration to recover.
