Pennine Music has released two new arrangements of classic pop music songs to give your audience something different to enjoy in your next concert programme.
Human League
'Don't You Want Me (Baby') by Sheffield synth pop band, The Human League, was a Christmas number one when it was originally released in 1981.
It went on to sell more than 1.5 million copies, making it the 23rd best-selling UK single of all time, and this cracking new arrangement works extremely well, showing the true versatility of what a brass band can achieve.
Tears for Feras
Also released is 'Mad World', originally by the group, Tears for Fears.
It wasn't until the work was featured in the film, 'Donnie Darko' with a different orchestration that it became a real hit. The haunting melody lends itself well to the middle of the band and audiences will recognize this more recently as the theme from the Lloyds Bank television adverts.
