Remember to bring something musical to Symphony Hall!

Make sure you bring an old mouthpiece, mute, music stand or even instrument with you to the British Open this year to help the Brass for Africa appeal.

Brass for Africa
Even the smallest donation makes a huge difference with Brass for Africa's inspirational work

If you are making the trip to Birmingham on Saturday to enjoy the action at the 164th British Open Championship at Symphony Hall, then make sure you bring something extra with your packed lunch and flask of tea.

The fantastic Brass for Africa charity will be launching its latest appeal to help some of the most disadvantaged children on the continent through making music, and desperately needs donations to help with its life changing work.

So if you have an old mouthpiece or two, a few battered mutes, some old music books, stands or even an instrument that needs a new home, then bring them along and the Brass for Africa team will gladly take them off you hands4BR
