Steven Mead will be making a welcome return to Fermanagh, Northern Ireland later this month to lead a series of youth workshops as well as perform in a gala concert with his wife, Misa.
Duo
The acclaimed euphonium duo will lead a day of brass workshops followed by a concert in the fabulous Ardhowen Theatre, accompanied by Western Virtuosi Brass under the baton of James MacCafferty on Thursday 29th September (8.00pm start).
Overlooking Lough Erne in the island town of Enniskillen the duo will perform a host of euphonium solos and duets including Peter Graham's 'Brilliante'.
Fantastic opportunity
Simon O'Hare, Fermanagh Music Service Manager told 4BR: "This is a fantastic opportunity for our children to gain first-hand experience with Steve and Misa and we are grateful to Besson Musical Instruments for their help getting them here.
It's a real coup — and little wonder we have entitled the concert, 'The Best Tunes in the World'!"
