The Newtongrange Band has announced that their resident conductor Mike Marzella has stepped down from the role.

Decision

Band Manager Alexander Graham Adam told 4BR: "Prior to our return from the summer break Mike informed us that due to pressures of study and various other personal commitments, he had had to regrettably make the decision to, at present, step down as Resident Conductor.

We wish to thank Mike for the hard work that he put in with us and we hope to be able to work together again when our combined schedules allow."
