New Trustees sought at Brass Bands England

  Brass Bands England is looking for two new trustees to help develop their future growth and effectiveness.

Brass Bands England (BBE) has announced that it wishes to appoint two additional Trustees to join the organisation's board, with specific skills in areas of fundraising and marketing and public relations.

Additions

BBE Chairman Mike Kilroy told 4BR: "We have recently welcomed David Thornton and John Doyle to our board of trustees and look forward to working with two such talented musicians, both of whom have tasted banding at every level and are also deeply involved in the development of young players.

However, in order to complete our skill-set on the BBE board we would still like to make two further appointments to oversee see our fundraising, marketing and PR operation. We would therefore be delighted to hear from anyone with an interest in progressing the work of Brass Bands England."

Marketing and Public Relations and Fundraising/bid writing

It is understood that the two new appointments in Marketing and Public Relations and Fundraising/bid writing will be asked to use their experience and expertise to help to accelerate the organisation's growth and effectiveness.

They will also work with other trustees to oversee the strategic direction of the charity and help ensure that the Brass Bands England remains cohesive and forward thinking.
