Turner take leave from Crwbin

Travel, work and family commitments see Lynne Turner relinquish her MD role at Crwbin Band.

Crwbin Band
A rejuvenated Crwbin Band thanks Lynne Turner for her role with the Carmarthenshire Band.

The Crwbin Band from West Wales has announced that due to work and family commitments as well as the long commute to rehearsals, that Lynne Turner has reluctantly stepped down from the role as Musical Director. It follows the earlier decision of husband Chris to relinquish his connection with the band.

Glowing terms

Lynne has spoken in glowing terms about her time with Crwbin, which has seen the band from Carmarthenshire become rejuvenated — claiming podium finishes at the Welsh League contests in Burry Port and Merthyr Tydfil as well as at the Second Section Area contest in Swansea.

We would like to thank both Chris and Lynne for their time with us — and especially Lynne for her continued commitment Band Chairman, Dewi Thomas
