4BR Editor had the pleasure of meeting up with the great American trumpet player Philip Smith in front of the former Prime Minister William Asquith in Morley (above) in Yorkshire on the weekend.
Philip was the inspirational guest conductor of the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain this year on their Summer course, and he told 4BR that it had been a wonderful musical trip.
