4BR has been informed of the death of Jim Hartley.

Jim suffered a heart attack shortly after performing at the Durham Miners Gala with the Thurcroft Band, and 4BR has been informed that the family would like to record their thanks to both Thurcroft members and St John's Ambulance.

Sadly, a week after the event Jim suffered a further cardiac arrest from which he was unable to recover.

A memorial service will be held at Frecheville Methodist Church, Churchdale Road, Frecheville, Sheffield, S12 4XW at 10.00am on Thursday August 4th4BR

A memorial service will be held at Frecheville Methodist Church, Churchdale Road, Frecheville, Sheffield, S12 4XW at 10.00am on Thursday August 4th.
