It has been announced that the Geneva Group has secured the purchase of Amati USA, based in New York.
4BR was informed that the move follows several months of negotiations throughout the first half of 2016, with Geneva Group CEO and Founder Tim Oldroyd recently returning to the UK following the successful acquisition.
High profile addition
It marks the latest high-profile addition to the Geneva Group following the purchase of large factories of the renowned Amati Denak in Kraslice, and VF Cerveny & Synove in Hradec Kralove in the Czech Republic.
"Amati USA is the final jewel in Geneva's crown for 2016,"Tim Oldroyd told 4BR. "The way is now open for Geneva to advance its presence as world leaders in musical instrument manufacture, and to promote new and existing products that will secure a sustainable and healthy future."
Working hard
He added: "We have been working hard to make sure our plans to purchase Amati USA happened within the first half of 2016 alongside the Czech Republic factories.
It fits perfectly with our business model — moving us forward to some very exciting new developments for the Geneva Group in 2017."
