The Bolsover Festival of Brass competition has announced that due to unprecedented demand, they can now only accommodate potential entrants for the Championship and First Section contests, which will take place on Sunday 2nd October, on a waiting list.
Outstanding opportunity
A spokesperson told 4BR: "Following the success of last year's broadcast event we already have a full line-up of competing bands for these sections.
The Festival offers an outstanding opportunity for bands to showcase their entertainment programmes to a world-wide audience, so it is heartening that the demand has been so great.
If Championship and First Section bands now wish to be considered we would urge them to get in touch so that we can offer a place on a waiting list."
