Wise to make Redbridge return

Jeremy Wise will return to Redbridge Brass as band thanks Alan Duguid for his contribution.

Redbridge

The Redbridge Band has publicly thanked former Musical Director Alan Duguid following his decision to resign from the London & Southern Counties band.

Thanks

Band Manager, David Cooper told 4BR: "We would like to take this opportunity to thank Alan for all his hard work over the last couple of years.

We are delighted that he will continue to work with us in the short term, with his final appearance being at the Thaxted Festival on 16th July."

Wise return

David also told 4BR that former MD Jeremy Wise will now return to the band that he led with considerable success over a five-year tenure up to 2013 — including a hat-trick of Area titles, victory at the Butlins Mineworkers Championship and podium finishes at the Grand Shield and French Open.

He added: "We are looking forward to working with Jeremy again and will be presenting concerts in the autumn as well and preparing for Butlins where Jeremy's imaginative programming will be back in full force!"
