Clifton & Lightcliffe is the latest band to take to the stage to perform in a sold out production of 'Brassed Off!'

The Yorkshire outfit gave the first of six performances on Monday night at the Bingley Little Theatre, after which they and the cast received a standing ovation from the packed audience.

Band spokesperson Jane Clay told 4BR: "This is the fourth time the band has taken part in the production — the last time being at the Alhambra Theatre in Bradford two years ago.

We have really enjoyed it and we have been asked to take part in yet another run of performances in September at the Karla Sangam theatre in Bradford."
