Coleshill Youth Brass recently held their annual celebration concert — featuring the talented young players of Coleshill Beginner Brass & Coleshill Youth Brass.
Varied and exciting
The concert featured a varied and exciting programme of music from the Beginner Brass conducted by Sally Fagg, including beautifully played hymn tunes, arranged by Alan Fernie and traditional airs. Many of the players had only started playing in September 2015.
Battle honours
The second half saw Coleshill Youth Brass performing after their recent win at the Battle of the Bands contest in Chesterfield.
Their contribution included the premiere of a new arrangement of the hymn 'The Supreme Sacrifice' which was arranged by 17 year old band member, Daniel Fenner, who also conducted the first performance.
