The Andover Band has certainly wowed a new audience on their recent tour to the Eternal City.
The band spent the recent half term break on tour in Rome where they performed eight concerts in six days — from local high schools to busy city squares, the famous Spanish Steps and even beside the iconic Coliseum.
Unforgettable
MD Steve Large, told 4BR: "To play in the very centre of Rome, amid 2000 years or more of history was an experience none of us will ever forget. The performance beside the Coliseum was amazing with tourists and locals flocking to hear us play."
Andover also worked with the Salvation Army in Rome to support their work with the City's less fortunate residents.

Mission work
Steve added: "We were very grateful to the Salvation Army for helping to arrange our visit and it was wonderful to be able to join their Sunday service and encourage them in their mission work.
The tour was a great success. It promoted brass band music to new audiences and strengthened the productive family ethos within the whole band."
