4BR has been informed that entries are now welcome from bands (member or non-member) for the 70th Annual Championships of the South West Brass Band Association.

The contest will be held on Saturday 5th November at the Riviera International Conference Centre in Torquay where they will have to impress adjudicators Stan Lippeatt and Steve Sykes.

As the Championships commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Association, it is hoped that as many bands as possible will enter.

To encourage bands not usually seen at contests, un-graded bands have been incorporated into the Fourth Section, with Youth and Training bands having their own respective sections.
