Bradford Youth to lead royal celebration

Bradford Youth Band will help their home city in their celebrations for Her Majesty.

The Bradford Youth Brass Band is certainly enjoying some high-profile performance engagements.

One Nation

Fresh from their recent trip to Queensbury to rehearse in Black Dyke's historic bandroom, the band will now play a central part in the civic celebrations for the Queen's 90th birthday in their home city as part of a 'One Britain, One Nation' event.

They will perform a 15-minute programme of music as well as lead the massed ranks of people in signing 'Happy Birthday' to Her Majesty4BR

Parade

They will perform a 15-minute programme of music as well as lead the massed ranks of people in signing 'Happy Birthday' to Her Majesty after leading a parade from City Park to Centenary Square in Bradford.

The event will being at 10.45am with the band leading a host of schools and local organisations in City Park before leading the way down to the centre.
