Following their record 15th overall Championship victory at the Tameside Whit Friday march contests, Foden's has announced the signing of the experienced Andy Cattanach on Bb tuba.

It will be the second time Andy will have worn the famous red jacket of the Sandbach band after originally joining from Kennedy's Swinton in 1991. He later spent time with Besses o' th' Barn before enjoying 13 years as both player and Chairman of Freckleton Band.
Andy has also been a member of north-west rivals Fairey, although he joins after completing a successful tenure at Brighouse & Rastrick, where he recently played with them at the European Championships in Lille.
