Tuba signing for Tongwynlais

National finalists Tongwynlais Temperance add strength to their tuba team in time for Albert Hall.

Following their recent top-six finish at the Grand Shield in Blackpool, Tongwynlais Temperance has announced the signing of experienced BBb tuba player Nigel Buist.

Nigel will join from west Wales rivals Pontardulais as the band looks towards their fifth consecutive appearance at the Albert Hall National Finals as well as the Pershore Festival of Brass.

Invaluable

Band Chairman, Iestyn Davies told 4BR: "Nigel was invaluable for us at the Grand Shield and it's a real boost to be able to have him signed for forthcoming local contests as well as the Albert Hall."
