The Chelmsford Salvation Army Band, under the leadership of Bandmaster Garry Smith are preparing for a forthcoming tour of Norway.

Oslo bound

The band will be flying to Oslo on Saturday 14th May with an itinerary for the five day visit which includes concerts in Oslo, Drammen and Askim where they will help celebrate Norwegian National day on Tuesday 17th May.

Bandmaster Garry Smith told 4BR: "The members of the band are looking forward to the trip which we have been working hard towards for the last few months.

It will be good to be there for the National day which we have heard a lot about."
