The Fairey Band will be saying a fond farewell to percussionist David Wycherley as he drives off to pursue his new high-paced business interests.

David has been a valued member of the North West band since September 2012, but his new business venture means that he has to hang up his sticks.

Brilliant playing

Band spokeswoman, Victoria Lundberg told 4BR: "We are very sad to see David leave and would like to thank him for his brilliant playing, commitment and humour over the last four years.

He will be sadly missed, but we wish him well with his new Lizard Racing business."
