During the development for the new b# Virtuoso Brass Instrument Cleaning Kit, the innovative company ensured that it did plenty of research — with extensive trials undertaken with the help of the Foden's Youth Band.
Trials
Some of these trials involved asking the players to test the soak and give feedback on its performance — with a competition element dipped into the mix to help things along.
And at the recent monthly Foden's Youth Band rehearsal a lucky winner was presented with a kit to thank them for their efforts. The lucky winner was Emma Drew of Lions Youth Band, who plays trombone with Foden's Youth Band.
Encouraged
b# Sales Manager Ian Hill told 4BR: " We are very privileged to have the support of Foden's Band and were encouraged by the interest shown by the youth band players in ensuring their instruments are kept clean and in good playing order."
Ian added that as instruments are any band's biggest asset, it is difficult to fundraise to keep them in tip-top condition — so they have launched the b# 'Keep it Clean Scheme', which allows bands to sell the kits to their players and in return b# donates some of the profit back to them!

Open to all
