Brighouse & Rastrick Band is still receiving plaudits from around the world following their recent appearance on the popular BBC One 'The One Show' (above) where they helped pay a musical tribute to the late broadcaster Terry Wogan.

6 million

An audience of over 6 million viewers tuned in on the night as under the baton of Derek Broadbent, the band brought the show to a close performing 'The Floral Dance'.

Brilliant response

Spokesperson Ryan Watkins told 4BR: "Even at such short notice the players responded brilliantly to get to London for what was a very special programme for the BBC."

As they arrived the players were asked to perform for extensive camera and light checks, before being shuffled into the studio for a quick dose of make up!
