Report & Results: 2016 North Wales BBA Solo, Duet & Quartet

Over 100 competitors made it to Caernarfon for a great day of competitive music making.

The 2016 North Wales BBA Solo, Duet & Quartet contest took place at Y Galeri in Caernarfon on the weekend where over 100 competitor of all ages and from across north Wales put their skills to the test in a great day of competitive music making.

First appearances

The Association was delighted to welcome the Mayor of Caernarfon who kindly donated a new trophy and presented trophies and certificates to the successful competitors.

Making their first appearance as adjudicators for the event were Jim and Rhiannon Davies, both of who clearly enjoyed the performances and gave helpful and constructive comments, which were greatly appreciated by all the competitors.

The bands taking part this year were Beulah Brass, Deiniolen, Llandudno, Llangollen, Llanrug, Nantlle, Porthaethwy and Rhyl. Deiniolen won the trophy for the most successful band of the day.
