Following a memorable RNCM Brass Band Festival in Manchester, BBC Radio 3 will be broadcasting extensive highlights tonight.
Cory, Grimethorpe in spotlight
The broadcast which commences at 7.30pm will feature both Grimethorpe Colliery and Cory.
The reigning British Open champion, Grimethorpe Colliery under Dr Robert Childs will include the world premiere of Nigel Clarke's 'Further Adventures of the Same'.
After the interval, National Champion, Cory under Philip Harper will be featured in three of their major concert works from last Sunday afternoon including Alexander Comitas's new work 'Audita Tremendi'.

The full two and a half hour concert comes after BBC Radio 3 has been airing other performances from Grimethorpe Colliery's programme this week including Michael Ball's Whitsun Wakes' and Eric Ball's 'Sunset Rhapsody'.
