New Operations Co-ordinator at Brass Bands England

Louise Jones has been appointed the new Operations Co-ordinator at Brass Bands England.

BBE

Brass Bands England (BBE) has announced the appointment of Louise Jones as their new Operations Coordinator, replacing Graham Sandersfield who left the post in December. She took up the post this week.

Identified

Louise was identified by BBE as a potential high-quality replacement following the termination of the previous incumbent's position and had previously worked with BBE to provide the Virtual Box Office and additional marketing services for the 2015 National Youth Brass band Championships.

Her expertise and dedication to customer service greatly impressed the trustees and she joins BBE from a regional role with the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), where she was responsible for the financial reporting of all Northern Region offices and reserves.

Experience

She also provided technical assistance to the Reserves Area Manager and the Director of the Northern Region. Prior to taking the post with RSPB Louise was Set-up and Support Manager for Quay Tickets, part of the Lowry Theatre.

She was responsible for managing the set-up, support and trade desk teams, specialising in the setting up of complex events, venue building, management of a varied portfolio of clients and ticketing websites including microsites and event pages.

Confident

Mike Kilroy commented: "The BBE Board of Trustees are delighted that they have managed to secure the services of Louise.

We are confident that she will provide the dedication, expertise and experience that will provide the internal mechanisms that will support the Liaison Officer team, trustees, members and stakeholders now and in the future."
