Area workshop aims at benefiting Third and Fourth Section contenders

The Oxfordshire & District Brass Band Association will be holding their Second 'Regional Test-Piece Workshop' for the benefit of Third and Fourth Section bands this weekend.

This coming Sunday (24th January) the Oxfordshire & District Brass Band Association (ODBBA) will be holding their Second 'Regional Test-Piece Workshop' for the benefit of Third and Fourth Section bands.

Judges

Respected adjudicators Steve Pritchard-Jones and Mike Kilroy (above) will present their thoughts on Peter Graham's 'The Journal of Phileas Fogg' (Fourth) and Michael Ball's 'A Cambrian Suite' (Third) with the help of a composite band.

Morning and afternoon

Steve will start the morning session at 10.00am with Mike following at 1.00pm. Both sessions will last for two hours with a one hour break for lunch at 12 noon.

It all takes place at Yarnton Village Hall (The Paddocks, Yarnton, Oxfordshire, OX5 1TE) and entrance is open to all. The cost is £3.50 to cover both sessions.
