Foden's have announced that Melanie Whyle has been appointed as their new flugel player, whilst the experienced Leon Renilson joins the North West outfit on repiano cornet.

Speaking about the changes Band Manager and principal cornet Mark Wilkinson told 4BR: "Melanie has played repiano with us for five years and has proved to be a very stylish, consistent, committed and hard working player — who is already making a great impact on flugel."
