As previously reported on 4BR in December, the last ever concert performance by the James Shepherd Versatile Brass is now available on DVD.
Curtain down
After forty three years of innovative music-making, the iconic brass group bid farewell in the presence of its founder and some of its former players in Delph, Saddleworth, at the end of last year for what was a memorable evening that also featured World Whistling Champion, David Morris.
Proceeds to NCBBGB
At £5 with proceeds going to the National Children's Brass Band of Great Britain, the DVD is entitled 'Legacy' in tribute to its founder and inspiration to many, James Shepherd.
The disc features concert items from the evening, along with the legendary Black Dyke cornet player, making an acceptance speech having received a personal portrait from the current members.
