The renowned French tenor horn player Anthony Galinier has announced that he will be leaving the reigning French National champion, Paris Brass Band, at the end of the year, to explore a number of new musical projects.
CD recording
One of these will be the recording of his second solo CD, which he will undertake with Foden's Band in collaboration with brass recording specialists World of Brass.
Looking forward
The Besson artist told 4BR: "I'm looking forward to travelling to England to work with Foden's who I first met in 2014 when I was asked to adjudicate their wonderful solo competition.
The recording will feature a number of new compositions from leading composers, including a new work from Peter Meechan which will also feature Mark Wilkinson and Dave Thornton.
As well as the recording I'm also looking forward to a number of solo engagements, masterclasses and recitals as well as continuing my work as a Besson artist."
