Large or small — Duchy Brass meets everyone's instrument needs

From the cornets of Windcorp Brass in Sweden to the tuba of the Royal Shakespeare Company for a trip to China, Duchy Brass meets every player's needs... perfectly

Ian Foster

There can be no better place to go to find the perfect instrument — both large or small — than Duchy Brass it seems, with proprietor Jenny Thomas offering a superb service with a great selection of instruments to meet all needs.

Sweden

Not only has Jenny just provided Geneva cornets to members of the Windcorp Band in Sweden, but she recently came to the aid of renowned tuba soloist Ian Foster (above) when he required a very specific instrument for a quite unusual job.

China and New York

Jenny was able to supply Ian with a fantastic Besson 'New Standard' euphonium which Ian played whilst he was on a UK tour with the Royal Shakespeare Company this year.

So impressed with it he will now be taking it on tour to China and New York.

Perfect

He told 4BR: "It was the perfect instrument for what I wanted and Jenny came up trumps — both with the instrument itself and the service she provided. It was excellently packaged and sent very promptly with a personal touch.

It's great to have a choice between new and quality used instruments and Jenny definitely fills a gap in the market with style."
