Star performers from Grimethorpe Colliery Band continue to strengthen their links with Besson Musical Instruments and leading brass retailer Band Supplies.

The latest to make the trip to the Leeds store was euphonium player Phillippe Schwartz (above), who followed his section partner Michael Dodd in selecting his brand new Besson Prestige BE2052-2-0 from Band Supplies.

German built

Phillippe spent an afternoon with the brass specialists trying out no less than five instruments sent direct from Besson's German manufacturing base.

Band Supplies Manager Chris Tudball told 4BR: "The German built Prestige euphonium continues to be a massive success and will probably be the best selling euphonium in the UK due to its superb tuning, intonation and excellent build quality.

It comes as no surprise that the world's leading bands and players opt for Besson."

Special deal

To celebrate the tremendous success of the link between Band Supplies and Besson, the retailer is offering customers a very special deal until the end of the year.
