IBBSS set for extra in 2016

The International Brass Band Summer School will offer even more brilliant opportunities for delegates in 2016.

Massed bands

The International Brass Band Summer School (IBBSS) has announced that it will once hold its annual course in Swansea in 2016 — with yet another star studded list of tutors and exciting attractions already in place for delegates from all over the banding world to enjoy.

Fantastic success

With the 2015 course a fantastic success, Course Leader Prof Nicholas Childs told 4BR that he was keen to increase its scope even further, whilst still maintaining the core activities of world class tuition and music making.

"We now attract delegates from every corner of the globe — all eager to learn and to enjoy themselves,"he said.

"That's central to what the IBBSS has to offer — and that is why in 2016 we will once again offer our delegates the opportunity to work closely with world renowned tutors as well as adding extra features that they can enjoy and benefit from, such as greater use and understanding of multi-media presentational skills."

Relax

Prof Childs added: "The IBBSS also caters for non-participating and non-residential visitors — so we will also be ensuring that they can be a major part of the week whilst still being able to relax!

We have already been inundated with requests for more information and with numerous people already signing up to book their places, so with such an exciting week to look forward to, I hope many more delegates from all over the world will join us once more."
