Proud

A spokesperson told 4BR: "We are proud to be the main sponsors of such an iconic musical event — and our congratulations go to the winner Cory (above), and all the bands for providing a simply stunning day of competitive music making."

They added: "The launch of the superb Cardinal cornet was a huge success and the interest shown in it was phenomenal.

Cornet players from competing bands and others from all over the UK and Europe made their way to come as see the instrument — and they were not disappointed."

In addition Geneva's Associate Partner, Reg Vardy Band produced their third consecutive top eight performance to finish ahead of another Geneva partners, Co-operative Funeralcare, Virtuosi GUS and NASUWT Riverside.
