The Regent Hall Brass Arts Festival will take place at Regent Hall, Oxford Street in London on Thursday and Friday (8th/9th October)

Recital

The Festival Recital which takes place at 2.30pm on Friday 9th, features Besson tenor horn artist Owen Farr, accompanied by Christopher Williams on piano in an extensive programme that will feature music as diverse as Herbert Clarke to Mervyn Burtch.

Festival events

Tickets for the concert and all other festival events which feature Grimethorpe Colliery Band (7.30pm); Royal Academy of Music Brass Ensemble and Elgar Howarth and Mark David (12.30pm), Owen Farr Recital (2.30pm), The National's Test-Piece Seminar ('Spiriti' — Thomas Doss) (5.00pm) and on Thursday 8th October, Regent Hall Band and Songsters (7.45pm) are available by calling 01223 234090 or 07710 505689.

Banks Brass Band

November 4 • Banks Brass Band, a friendly, non-contesting village band in West Lancashire is looking for players, particularly euphoniums, trombones and basses. Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings 8.00-9.30pm in The Hub@Banks Community Centre.
