There were plenty of 'lucky number' smiles as 15 year old Claire Millar of Tullis Russell Band was presented with her brand new Bb Tromba cornet from Band Supplies this week.

Claire, who plays flugel and cornet received the innovative plastic instrument from 4BR's friends at Band Supplies in Glasgow after she had accurately predicted that the total of the draw numbers of the four National Champions at Cheltenham would be 38.

So much fun

She told 4BR: "I was a bit lucky picking the winning number — but I'm now thrilled to get a chance to have a Tromba cornet — they look so much fun!"

Lucky player

Ray Tennant of Band Supplies added: "The 4BR Quiz was a great, fun way to enable some lucky player to get their hands on a fantastic instrument.

The Tromba has been a huge hit and not just with young players like Claire. And as soon as she received it from us, everyone wanted to have a go on it!"
