Acclaim
Kevin has been both the Resident Conductor and euphonium player for the past eight years but over the last couple of years has gained widespread acclaim for his impressive performances with the baton.
He now follows in the footsteps of Richard Evans, Frank Renton and Paul Murrell in leading the Cornish band on the Albert hall stage.
The band work hard and is continuing to progress, and I'm sure that will be shown in London next weekendKevin Mackenzie
Great piece
Kevin told 4BR: "I'm looking forward to conducting at the Albert Hall on such a great test piece as 'Spiriti'. It's been a pleasure working with Ian Porthouse this year on various things.
The band work hard and is continuing to progress, and I'm sure that will be shown in London next weekend."
