Thanks to our friends at Geneva Instruments we have a fantastic Symphony cornet up for grabs if you can pick the National winner at the Royal Albert Hall.

Geneva Musical Instruments and 4BR have got together to provide a fantastic opportunity to win a brilliant Geneva 'Symphony' cornet for a band of your choice.

Pick the Albert Hall winner

All you have to do is pick the band who you think will be crowned 2015 Champion Band of Great Britain at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 10th October.

Geneva will then get in touch and will make arrangements to present the instrument to the band of your choice.

Your choice of who you give the prize to can be a band of any standard in any section — it's your choice who the fantastic cornet goes to if you win.

Results: 2025 Danish National Championships

November 4 • Concord books their flight to Linz as they claim the Danish crown in Aarhus and section titles go to Frederiksberg Brass Band, Hvidovre Musikskoles Brass Band and FDF Gladsaxe Brass Band.

Hutchinson to become new principal cornet at Black Dyke Band

November 4 • Tom Hutchinson will return to Yorkshire to follow Richard Marshall as principal cornet of Black Dyke Band.

Harlow Brass Band

November 4 • We have vacancies for CORNETS, TROMBONES, 2ND HORN AND PERCUSSION. We are a welcoming, non contesting band who organising their own Spring and Christmas concerts and enjoy playing at local events throughout the year.


Chinnor Silver

November 4 • Our COMMUNITY BANDS next rehearsal is on Monday 10th at 11am and held in our bandroom.. Blowing with us doesn't impact your own band and its free.. We welcome all regardless of ability . Tea and cakes an added bonus.


Banks Brass Band

November 4 • Banks Brass Band, a friendly, non-contesting village band in West Lancashire is looking for players, particularly euphoniums, trombones and basses. Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings 8.00-9.30pm in The Hub@Banks Community Centre.
