Stuart Lingard pleads guilty to child sex offences

Former cornet star Stuart Lingard admits commiting child sexual offences

Former music teacher Stuart Lingard has pleaded guilty to four counts of sexual activity with a child and one count of sexual activity in the presence of a child.

The 38 year old former Brighouse & Rastrick principal cornet player was given a three year supervision order and put on the sex offenders register for five years after being sentenced at Leeds Crown Court.

Lingard was also given a sexual offenders prevention order and must complete a sex offenders treatment programme.
