4BR has been informed that the funeral of Adrian Morris will take place at 12 noon on Thursday 1st October at St. Mark's Church, Worsley Brow, M28 2WH.

This will be followed by a short service at Agecroft Crematorium, Langley Road, Pendelebury, M27 8SS at around 1.40pm.

Since the news of his passing, his wife Carole has been overwhelmed by the tributes and comments made about 'Benny'.

In a posting on Facebook she remarked: "I just cannot believe the wonderful, warm, kind comments I've read in reaction to Benny's passing! This has made my heart swell to bursting and has helped me so very much in the past few dark days — it's crystal clear I'm not the only person who loved this man to bits!

Following the funeral refreshments will be served at Swinton Park Golf Club, East Lancashire Road, Swinton, M27 5LX

She added: "Please, please do join us if you can, to raise a glass to a brilliant and obviously well-respected and loved man!
