One of the additional attractions at this weekend's National Final in Cheltenham will be a performance by the 'Waistcoat Quartet' — which will take place before the announcement of the results in the Third Section on Sunday.

The Waistcoat Quartet is a much sought after London based professional trombone quartet and is made up of Guildhall School of Music & Drama students and Alumni — Kris Garfitt, Andrew McCoy, Ian Sankey and Adam.

Prize winning

In June the quartet was awarded second prize in the British Trombone Society Ian Bousfield Trombone Quartet Competition, which was made up of other professional trombone quartets from around Europe.
