Geneva Instruments has offered its congratulations to two of its Associate Partner bands following their recent successful contest performances.
Status
The Co-operative Funeralcare Band returned to top form at the recent British Open Championship in Birmingham, not only securing its status as Scotland's only representative at the world's oldest major championship event, but to once again claim a top 10 finish against the world's finest bands.
Triumph
Meanwhile, the Reg Vardy Band secured yet another Doctor Martin Wainstone Cup triumph at the stunning, Princess Alexandra Auditorium at Yarm School, Stockton-on-Tees.
It was the fourth time the North of England Area champion had repelled the challenge of local and national rivals to secure the massive £4,000 first prize.
London
Both bands will now look forward to competing at the National Finals — sponsored by Geneva Musical Instruments — at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Saturday 10th October.
A Geneva spokesperson told 4BR: "We are delighted to report yet more success for two of our outstanding associate partner bands.
