Stars set to help charity cause

Star brass band players are set to help a great charity that aims to give socially isolated or marginalised youngsters a chance to shine.

Many star players from the banding movement are coming together to help raise funds for the CreateBoltones Charity later this month.

Stars

An 'All Star Brass Band' will be conducted by Neil Samuel and will feature soloists Iain Culross, Richard Poole (above), Sarah Lenton and Brett Baker alongside the CreateBoltones musical group directed by Anna Hughes-Williams and Toby Hobson.

CreateBoltones work with people who may become socially isolated or marginalised by their social circumstance, disability, illness, age and financial situation, and endeavour to create positive relationships that make a difference by offering teenagers and young adults the opportunity to make music and participate in community activities.

The event takes place on Saturday 26th September in Bolton at Claremont House,

March 13 • Cornet and bass players required. We are a fun and relaxed non contesting band and are looking to swell our numbers. Players of any instrument will be very warmly welcomed, but we would really love some more cornets and basses (instruments available).
