Poulton aim for contemporary Bolsover double

The Poulton-Le-Fylde Band is looking towards success at the Bolsover Entertainment contest with an innovative programme and rehearsal approach...

The Poulton-Le-Fylde Band under their MD Dave Collins will be previewing their forthcoming Bolsover Entertainment contest programme later this month.

Contemporary

The First Section band is hoping that their innovative contemporary programme including new works by composers Paul McGhee and Daniel Hall as well as pieces by James McFadyen and Simon Dobson will hopefully tickle the fancy of John Roberts at the event on 4th October.

Open rehearsal

And to make sure they get things right, Poulton will run through their programme not once, but twice at an open rehearsal on Friday 25th September starting at 8.00pm, at the Blackpool Salvation Army Citadel, Raikes Parade, Blackpool.

I'm very excited to present a programme with four world premieres at this year's Bolsover Entertainment Contest and we are all looking forward to seeing how it is received by the audience and judgeMD, Dave Collins
